Fifty-One Weeks: A Family Vacation in the Adirondacks

Not every family would consider a crooked little cabin on a kettle pond in the Adirondacks to be paradise-in-the-woods. But, for our family, it is the very best week of the year — a bug-bitten antidote to the other fifty-one weeks of the year.
“Fifty-One Weeks” tells the story of the place and the sensory experience of being there, sandwiched between the anticipation of arrival and the hollowness of leaving the lake behind for another year. Next year will be our 20th year.
The music — guitar by Kieran Padgett, was recorded in the bedroom of Cabin Four in 2009.
